In part 69 of our 'Meet the Team' series, we spoke with Sheryl Krzeminski! Sheryl has been with A.H. Harris for a little over a year now and loves working with her New Haven, CT team as one of our Rental Administrators in our Forming & Shoring Division. Lets hear it for Sheryl!
Hi Sheryl! What is your role at Harris?
I am the Rental Administrator in the Forming & Shoring Division in New Haven, CT.
What lead you to a career with Harris?
I was at my last employer for close to ten years. I loved what I did and developed a great rapport with all of the customers and vendors. I started to feel like a caged bird. I wasn’t able to spread my wings as I was growing personally and professionally. I was applying on-line daily to various companies. I applied to Harris at least 3 times, even after getting a response that I was not qualified. I checked out the website and saw the longevity of so many employees and the great reviews. I read the write up on the President and I said to myself “I want to work there”. So, I persevered and Jake reached out to me that I was overlooked. The rest is history!

What is your biggest accomplishment at Harris so far?
The daily bet when I started working at Harris was whether or not I would show up for work. No one was certain I would stay the duration. I’ve been told my position is one of the hardest. I have even heard people say they wouldn’t want my job for all of the money in the world! This is a good thing for me, since I don’t feel the same way. It has been a challenging but a rewarding job. Everyday I feel accomplished because I am continually learning my job and this industry that is so new to me. I am loving every minute of it. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in this field!
What is something working at Harris has taught you?
We are all here to accomplish the same goal and we are so much “better together”.
So far, what has been your favorite memory at Harris?
My best memory at Harris is how helpful everyone has been. Each time I need assistance, no matter in what regards, each and every person I have reached out to has helped. I don’t just have co-workers here, I have friends.
What does Harris Pride mean to you?
We all are a part of a great team. We are all working and servicing our customers with the utmost integrity. We all take pride in what we do which is a reflection of Harris itself. Anyone working at Harris should be proud to be able to say that they do.
What’s the greatest bit of advice a Harris employee has ever given you?

“Don’t jump” I have been talked off of a ledge plenty of times by Rob LeClerc
What is one important skill every person should have?
Everyone needs to learn good communication! It is such an important part of day to day life and important when getting a job done in a team environment.
I couldnt agree more! Anything else about you?
I am a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan. I love Rhode Island beach in the summer. Christmas is my favorite time of year. I enjoy baking and I really love dogs! I have 2 male Chihuahuas that are well taken care of. Cliché as it may sound; I look forward to coming into Harris everyday. I have a great team of people in the New Haven office. We get the job done and we have fun doing it. I have never worked with such an awesome group of people and that extends out into the sales field and beyond. Change is hard but change is also good.
