Meet the team series part 21: Leadership Spotlight on Lou Viscarrondo

Episode XXI of our ‘Meet the Team’ leadership spotlights. Today, I got the opportunity to interview Lou Viscarrondo, nominated by Matt Finkle. Lou is the Operations Manager for the Westfield Forming Yard. On Facebook we run an album called “Faces & Places of AH Harris” and we also feature snapshots of our crew on Instagram. But we want to give some insights into who our company leaders are, what their background is and include some ‘personal touch’ that goes beyond what you would find on LinkedIn. Let’s hear it from Lou!

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me Lou, could you please remind myself and our audience of your role at A.H. Harris?

My role as the Operations Manager for the Westfield Forming Yard is to oversee the day to day operations of our biggest forming yard to date. I run a fast paced facility while keeping safety our main priority.

How long have you been with the organization?

I’ve been part of the Harris Family for 3 ‘GREAT’ years now. I came on board with the Barker Steel Forming Division buyout and haven’t looked back since.

Have you always had a career in construction?

Before Harris I worked for a concrete company, that’s how I got field experience. From there I joined Barker Steel Forming Division in 2006.

What does “Harris Pride” mean to you?

'Harris Pride' to me is having 'PRIDE' in being a part of this huge family that keeps growing and getting stronger. It means dedication and hard work, and taking AH Harris to heart in all that I do.

Great definition of 'Harris Pride', What is the one thing you want our customers to know?

AH Harris is your solution, why go anywhere else. Let us put 100 years of experience to work for you.

Any last words you want to share with our audience?

“Do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”, words to live by.

Who do you nominate for our next “Meet the Team” interview?

I would nominate Rob LeClerc, Formwork & Shoring Specialist.

I will reach our to Rob. Thank you again for your time and thank you for all you do!
