What is your role at Harris?

I recently moved into an Account Manager position in the Boston area. I cover the city of Boston and North towards our Woburn location.

Congratulations on your new role! What lead you to a career with Harris?

I graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Central Connecticut State University. I spent my first few years out of college working for a contractor. A fellow classmate mentioned that there was an opening for an estimating position here at A.H. Harris. I went through the application/interview process, and promptly assumed on the role of SNE (Southern New England) Estimator.

What was your first job ever?

I guess my first ever job was as a camp counselor at Camp Cochipianee in Goshen, CT. I spent every summer in high school working as the sports counselor. I also spent some time washing dishes at a local Elks club during the school year.

 Describe Harris in three words:

Dedicated, Hardworking, Family.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Harris so far?

I would say taking on the challenge of moving to Boston to take on this Account Manager position.

What is something working at Harris has taught you?

If you work hard and put your time in, you never know what opportunities might be around the corner.

What great advice! So far, what has been your favorite memory at Harris?

My favorite memories at Harris involve the people. There are some great people here with loads of knowledge and experience. And they are all willing to share those experiences to help others grow.

What does Harris Pride mean to you?

When I think Harris Pride, I think of the people and the relationships. Everywhere I go, when I tell people what I do and who I work for, there is always a story. They might know another employee, they might have worked there themselves, or they have some story involving the company in some way or another.

 Anything else about you?

I am a huge sports fan! I will watch pretty much anything and enjoy it. I also enjoy spending time with my German Shepherd, Jax.

Thanks so much for your time Steve and best of luck in your new position!
