Partner Profile: Owens Corning

For A.H. Harris, one of our greatest accomplishments as a company is the strong relationships we have built with our vendors over the years. Within our over 50 locations, our branches and teams have established connections with various companies that add value to our customers and create business opportunities for our organizations. We want our construction community to learn more about our vendors and give them an opportunity to share their story. That's why we are running our "Partner Profile" Blog Series. Here's the latest Vendor introducing themselves to our audience: Let's hear it from Owens Corning, everyone!

Harris first partnered with Owens Corning over 25 years ago and together, the business and partnership quickly began to grow. AH Harris and Owens Corning drive sales into the commercial market for below grade, civil, waterproofing and wall insulation markets together, and have seen growth in these products since we have been partnered. Harris & OC are also collaboratively supporting the change in energy codes and building design, and the team is helping grow new markets and territories together.

Owens Corning provides AH Harris with FOAMULAR® extruded polystyrene (XPS) rigid foam insulation. Owens Corning acquired the FOAMULAR® business in 1988, and today this pink insulation is a natural fit for Owens Corning’s product portfolio. This key product in Owens Corning’s insulation portfolio is used on most every building job site AH Harris services.

AH Harris’s rebar, forming and shoring, and concrete accessories businesses have been strong in the New England market and have continued to experience great growth, and the AH Harris and Owens Corning team look forward to growth in future markets as well. The new acquisition of Kenseal, for instance, allows for growth in the waterproofing and air barrier market offering a new opportunity for AH Harris. The AH Harris and Owens Corning team has experienced significant growth, doubling business in 6 years in a struggling economy. The team looks forward to even more opportunities in the future, and is committed to helping AH Harris meet its growth goals going forward.
