On July 12th, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ opened its new A.H.Harris Branch. With its new team and services behind it, it will be a great asset and resource to Harris and our customers in the region. Servicing North East New Jersey, this property is on route 17 North between Route 3 and Route 80, just minutes from MetLife Stadium and American Dream, and only 10 miles from New York City. This 5,000 square foot facility has approximately a 7,500 square foot yard and has been a construction supply house for over 40 years, which has made it the ideal site for our new location. Our Hasbrouck Heights facility hours are from 7:00am to 4:00pm, giving customers and associates time to check out and browse our new storefront.
It's been over a year now that A.H. Harris opened their Allentown/Whitehall branch in Pennsylvania! The construction supply store is located just off Route 22 (close to the Allentown Airport in the Riverside Business Center). From here, branch manager Andrew and his team are serving the Allentown, Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley and Eastern Pennsylvania markets. We want you to get to know your local Harris crew and learn more about their products and services. Now let's hear it from the guys.
In the latest edition of our popular branch spotlights series, we get an inside look into our Newington operations. This is one of our busiest branches and the one closest to Harris' founding place in Connecticut. The team is as diverse as the material on the shelves. All your construction supply needs under one roof. Now let's hear it from the team on Holmes Road.
Located right outside of our nation’s capital,
Located in the capital of North Carolina, the Kenseal Raleigh team services the bustling city and surrounding suburbs of the Research Triangle. We opened for business in July of 2006 in Garner, NC by virtue of acquisition of Design Materials, a regional distributor of EIFS and Stucco products. We moved to 2539 Noblin Road, just off Interstate 440 in 2010 where you can still find us today.
Episode XIX of our 'Meet the Team' leadership spotlights. Today, I got the opportunity to interview Tad Spiller, nominated by Mike Griffin. Tad is the Account Manager at our Portland branch. On Facebook we run an album called “Faces & Places of AH Harris” and we also feature snapshots of our crew on Instagram. But we want to give some insights into who our company leaders are, what their background is and include some ‘personal touch’ that goes beyond what you would find on LinkedIn. Let’s hear it from Tad!

We have been at Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley for 5 years now, continuing to service Westchester County, The Bronx, and some northern parts of Manhattan with pick up business from the Tri-state area. Keeping up with high delivery demand we’ve upgraded to a CDL flat bed with 30,000lb cap. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and quick turn around on orders. We currently have 2500+ days without a lost time accident and safety is our number one concern everyday.
Along the Connecticut coast line you'll find AH Harris & Kenseal of New Haven. We are located at the intersecting routes I91 & I95 at the base of the Q-Bridge (which, by the way, our concrete forms helped build!). We opened the facility in 2010 with only 3 employees and 1 delivery truck. The New Haven location turned quickly into a central hub that now supplies 5 other AH Harris locations (Newington, Stamford, Chicopee, Fairfield & Ardsley NY) with building material and construction equipment. Our team now consists of 25 employees between AH Harris & Kenseal personnel, a tractor trailer, a form yard with commercial forms to rent or purchase along with 3 delivery trucks equipped with lifts to load I unload material to meet the demand of all the construction activity in the state. We came a long way!
