Another gem for you in our ‘Meet the team’ Leadership series. Today's feature Harris leader is Michael Griffin. On Facebook we run an album called “Faces & Places of AH Harris” and we also feature snapshots of our crew on Instagram. But we want to give some insights into who our company leaders are, what their background is and include some ‘personal touch’ that goes beyond what you would find on LinkedIn. Let’s hear it from Michael in #17 of our successful interview series!
AH Harris in Portsmouth has been serving the Seacoast region of New Hampshire for almost 40 years. Our current location at 255 West Rd. was built to suite in 1989 and has gone through some major renovations to allow us to grow along with customer demand. Fun Fact - the contractor who won the job to pour our foundation actually purchased 200 brand new Steel-ply panels from us to do the job! Our building is currently 12,000sf large and our yard used for storage is roughly 75,000sf. We are strategically located one block off the historic highway Rt.1 and less than a mile from Rt.95. We are easily accessible to other major highways Rt.16 (also known as The Spaulding Turnpike) which heads North and Rt.111/Rt.101 which heads West of us. Our location is conveniently positioned to deliver products from Southern Maine to Northern Massachusetts on a regular basis with maximum efficiency and convenience to handle all of our customer’s building supply demands. Every Monday we dedicate one truck to make a Northern run up into the White Mountain/Lakes region of NH, and every Tuesday and Thursday we dedicate a truck to bring our construction materials into Southern Maine.
