Veterans Day Discounts

by Liza Wardwell

It was first known as Armistice Day to mark the end of World War I at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. In recognition of the efforts of World War II veterans, President Eisenhower in 1954 signed legislation creating Veterans Day with the goal of honoring all American veterans. Every year, we set aside Veterans Day to honor all the men and women who’ve served our country in uniform. We celebrate veterans from generations past. We welcome a new generation of veterans home from war. And we thank our future veterans, still serving at home and abroad. Within our organization we have associates who have served in the U.S. Army as an engineer, been stationed Offutt Air Force base in Bellevue, NE, served on the USS Midway and USS Kitty Hawk, served in the NH Air National Guard, and currently serve in the military as a Staff Sergeant. Bob W., Brian C., Dan W., Domenick D., Fred M., George A., Glenn C., James O'C., Jason P., Joe M., John N., Josh J., Mike N., Pat M., Rob T., Sean O'N., Tim F., Vance H., Walt B of A.H. Harris thank you for your services. We salute you and your families.
